Safety Operating Regulations
Cleaning and inspection of the machine interior may only be performed after the machine has completely stopped. All cables and electrical wiring must have protective conduits. During machine operation, it is strictly forbidden to insert hands or tools into the machine. Before performing inspection or maintenance work, the power must be disconnected and a warning sign hung on the machine. The transmission chain guard must be intact to prevent personnel from contacting moving parts.
Structural Safety Checks
Motor base fastening bolts must be inspected regularly to ensure the foundation has sufficient rigidity. This prevents chain skipping or detachment caused by foundation loosening which can lead to transmission failures. Regular inspection of all guards and safety devices is essential to maintain a safe working environment. Operators should be trained to recognize the sounds of normal operation versus developing mechanical issues.
Maintenance Procedures
During operation, check compressed air pipelines for leaks at least once per shift and drain accumulated water from the oil-water separator once per shift. Clean the drive chain and sprockets monthly using diesel fuel, then apply fresh engine oil. Clean residual material from buffer hopper inner walls weekly. Measure the coefficient of variation at both the mixer outlet and finished product packing port monthly.
Monthly Deep Maintenance
Clean spray nozzles monthly while also cleaning residual material from the mixer interior walls and cover plates. Check the discharge door weekly for material leakage and damaged sealing strips. Verify proper linkage mechanism position when the door is closed. All maintenance activities should be documented with dates, findings, and actions taken to build a comprehensive maintenance history for the equipment.
