Zhengzhou Yuguang Composite Materials Co., Ltd. (the former is Zhengzhou University Puguang Technology Co.), subordinate to Zhengzhou University, is the trunk enterprise in our country to professionally produce metal composite materials with high-energy explosive welding process and the key hi-tech enterprise in Henan province. Zhengzhou University established computational mechanics and new welding technology institute in 1994, which ingrates scientific research, technical service and new product development into one body. It continuously develops new metal explosion composites in accordance with market demand to further improve and perfect the new technology of explosive welding and make great contribution to the economic construction of our country. The company now has three professors, six associate professors, over 30% engineering technicians among total employees. It has exquisite explosive welding process and technology and possesses domestic top-ranked explosion compound site of 6000sqm and advanced large-scale equipment including 1000t oil press, seven-roll and three-roll plate straitening machines and 14M combustion gas trolley-type heat treatment furnace. Its annual output of metal composites and further processed products is more than 10000 tons. The company mainly produces non-ferrous metal explosion composite plate of stainless steel/steel, aluminum/steel, copper/aluminum series, which is an ideal engineering structure material and widely used in the industrial fields of electrolytic aluminum, petroleum, chemical, salt making, seawater desalting, water conservancy and electricity, shipping, medicine, metallurgy, power, spaceflight and environmental protection etc and sold well in more than 20 provinces, cities and autonomous regions. In the production, the company strictly carries out the relative national standard, trade standard and international universal standard like ASME, ASTM and JIS etc and smoothly passes ISO 9001-2000 quality system attestation. Now, the company annual output of Aluminum-Steel clad plate is more than 30 thousand pcs. The only product of Al-Steel clad plate owned 60% at home.
