Industrial water softener system

Water softener system is a device that reduces water hardness. It mainly removes calcium and magnesium ions in water. During the softening process, the softening water equipment cannot reduce the total salt content in the water. It can be used to soften the feed water of air conditioning systems and the treatment of domestic water and industrial boiler water.

Working Principle:

The water softener system adopts the ion exchange principle to remove scaling ions such as calcium and magnesium in the water. When the raw water containing hardness ions passes through the resin layer in the exchanger, the calcium and magnesium ions in the water are replaced with the sodium ions adsorbed by the resin. The resin adsorbs the calcium and magnesium ions and the sodium ions enter the water. In this way, the water flowing out of the exchanger is softened water with the hardness removed.
