2. Guaranteed performance
a. Initial chlorine evolution potential (saturated sodium chloride, Id=3kA/m2): ≤1.10V vs. SCE.
b. Guaranteed life: The life can be guaranteed according to the specific use conditions, and the chlorine evolution potential (ID=3kA/m2) during the guarantee period is not greater than 1.1V vs SCE.
3. Product geometry
Yiantan can provide anode products in the following shapes: round punching mesh, diamond punching mesh, grid bar, drawn mesh and flat mesh, etc. Its dimensions are suitable for various types of non-membrane, diaphragm or ionic membrane grooves.
2. Working principle:
1. The sodium hypochlorite generator is a set of devices that generate sodium hypochlorite solution by electrochemical reaction of low-concentration salt water through energized electrodes.
The overall response is expressed as follows:
NaCl + H2O → NaClO + H2↑
Electrode reaction:
Anode: 2Cl- - 2e → Cl2
Cathode: 2H+ + 2e → H2
Solution reaction: 2NaOH + Cl2 → NaCl + NaClO + H2
2. Anode material
Coated titanium anodes and mixed oxide coated titanium anodes can be selected as anode materials, which have a long service life. The overpotential of such coated titanium anodes is also relatively low, the chlorine evolution current efficiency is high, and the energy saving effect is good.
