Machining accuracy:  

U drill bit: level 10-15  

Crown drill bit: Level 7-10  

Processing depth:  

U drill bit: <5D

Crown drill bit: <15D

Processing efficiency:  

U drill bit: From the design point of view, U drill is a central blade, plus an external blade, it belongs to the asymmetric design, belongs to the single-edge tool.  

Crown drill bit: It is a symmetrical design drill bit, which can also be called a double-edge tool, and two cutting edges, and the processing efficiency is usually three times that of the two knives of the U drill.  

The feed per tooth of U drill is generally only about 0.05mm, and the feed per tooth of crown drill can be 0.2-0.25mm

Therefore, U drill is generally used under five times the diameter, and U drill is not recommended for more than five times the diameter.
