Tianwei New Energy Holdings Co., Ltd. (TWNE) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Baoding Tianwei Group Co., Ltd, which has incorporated into China South Industries Group Corporation (CSGC). Tianwei Group is a leading enterprise in power transmission industry, and has the biggest transformer plant in terms of production output around the world. TWNE mainly engages in the down-stream activity of PV industry-the research, manufacturing, sales and service of silicon wafers, PV cells, PV modules, and PV systems. Covering an area of more than 67 hectares, TWNE has a total investment of about RMB5.4billion. The construction comes in three phases and will be finished by year 2012. After all those phases of development, the company will realize capacity of 1.1GW wafer, 600MW PV cell and 1 GW PV modules.<br>
