Founded in October, 1993, Yangzhou Huagui Foods Co., Ltd. is situated in Baoying County of Jiangsu Province (famous for the Land of Lotus Roots in China), with No. 331 Provincial Highway just in front of our company, No. 204 National Highway in the east and Beijing-Shanghai Expressway in the west leading directly to such important ports in China as Lianyungang Port and Shanghai Port, which now covers a land area of 23,500m2, including a building area of 14,000m2. Our firm staffs more than 600 employees, including more than 30 technical persons, owns fixed assets of more than 20 million RMB, and is equipped with advanced production facilities, including shredders, slicers, foreign substance removing machines, vacuum packing machines and metal detectors imported one after another from Japan. We have advanced production technologies. With scientific research institutions in the fields of foods and nutrition, such as Nanjing Agriculture University and Yangzhou University as powerful backing and taking advantage of the local plentiful and fine-quality lotus root resources, Yangzhou Huagui Foods Co., Ltd. is specialized in the production and processing of nearly 100 kinds of lotus root products and related vegetable products in such 4 major series as fresh-keeping, salting, boiling and beverage series. A 6,000mu lotus root material base has been established, which is registered in China Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine (CIQ), and the certification of Good Agricultural Practice (GAP) has been obtained. Yangzhou Huagui Foods Co., Ltd. has obtained the certifications of such quality and safety management systems as ISO9001, HACCP and QS. The annual processing and export volume is 8,000 tons, and our goods are mainly sold to such countries and regions as Japan and South Korea. The Houfu brand series lotus root products are Jiangsu Famous-Brand Products.
